GL accounts
Introduction
GL (general ledger) accounts are used for reporting purposes. It allows you to book transactions for products and accounts on certain configured GL accounts. This will not affect the flow of the transactions as the transaction schemes will.
Configure a GL account
New GL accounts are easily set up and require the following information:
Name | Description |
---|---|
Name | Used as identifier for the GL account in the configuration |
External account | Denotes to which payment type the subtype is linked |
Account type | Denotes the account type of the GL |
Mapping rule | Option between PositiveToCredit or PositiveToDebit |
Description | Optional description of the GL account for your convenience |
